Chinese New Year

Hey woozens!!! AS u may already know, Today is Chinese New Year!!!! This is the year of the snake ;D And there's also a unitz design contest that will be happening!!! Use the Chinese New Year unitz, and the furn (Mya suggests snakes and ladders snakes and such) I'm not Chinese, but I've always thought Chinese culture is interesting! But as I am completely broke, I will not be entering a unitz c: But good luck to those of u who are!! And for the festvities, heres 10 facts about the China/ Chinese New Year:
1.  Beijing is the capital of China and is among the most populous cities in the world 2. The renminbi is the official currency of the People's Republic of China 3. Shanghai is the largest city proper by population in China. 4. Mandarin Chinese is spoken as a native language by 70% of the population, and Standard Mandarin is the official national language of China. 5. The ruling party of China, the Chinese Communist Party, is an officially atheist organization, but freedom of religion is a right, citizens can only practice one of the five official recognized religions: Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism, and Protestantism. 6. October 1st is the nation day of China, the day the People's Republic of China was founded on October 1, 1949 7. The Chinese national anthem is March of the Volunteers, written in 1935, with lyrics by the poet Tian Han and music by the composer Nie Er. 8. The giant panda is considered a Chinese national treasure. 9.  More bird species live in China than any other place in the world. 10. China border's: Korea, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadzhikistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.
