So I do have another post for you guys- only thing is I'm just getting the post from an old blog of mine because it took ages to write and there's no point writing it again! It's a guide to how to design a unit and I hope it helps!
Have you ever had trouble designing a good unit and creating the perfect outfit? Well.. I'm here to help you! I'll guide you through some easy enough steps to create the best possible unitz, and some tips.
Ok, first up- designing the most EPIC unitz eVeR!!!! :D
First Step!
1. Choose your unitz carefully. Go to your unitz. Take a look at your ugly, boring unitz, and think of what colours you think would work well with the unit! For my example, I'm using a castle unitz. So imagine you have an ugly, blank, castle unit, and there is absolutely NO furniture in it. My first tip would be: Buy a random, colourful, nice background that appeals to you the most. Take a look at the background.. What colours would go with the background? Think about colours that would go with the background and choose 1-5 colours that go well with it. Since I had a BLACK and DARK BLUE shooting star background, I decided on using deep purple for my main colour.

Ok, so now that you have decided on a good background, unitz, and theme colours- you need to decide what type of unitz it will be. A hangout for you and your buddies? A bathroom? A living room? A game unitz? A kitchen? Just a place to chill? Decide on something. 3. Next- the FUN part!! The furniture! Ok, so first things first- check your inventory and check out your furniture. It might look like you have a lot of stuff, but do you really? Look in your inventory for some epic furniture that will go well with your room and your colours that you chose. Not enough furni? That's OK. Go for a shopping spree! Check out all the furniture available and think about it's size, colour, and price- will it fit in your room? Is it too small? Way too big? What about if your main colour is blue, but this piece of furniture is orange? 1000 wooz- really? Your going to pay 1000 wooz for a chair? Basically what I'm saying is REALLLLYY think about what you buy or choose to go in your unit! It could make your unit 1000 times better, or ruin all your hard work! |
3. It's time to put your furniture in your unit! Think about were it will go and take a look at some other unitz for insparation. Now, carefully put the furniture in, and play around with it all till it's PERFECT and you're happy with it.
4. Yay! Your nearlyyyy done! But all that's left to do is colouring the floor and wallz, and thinking for of a title for your room! Match the colour of the floor and wallz to your furniture and background. Then, think of a creative title for your room- don't just name it 'My room' or 'The Kitchen'. Thing wild! Think ''------'s epic purple bedroom''.. Nah, that's lame, but I bet your more creative than me!! ;)
